Freedom Street is about parenting and childhood trauma equally. Explored through 4 different characters who crash into a turning point on a fateful night at Freedom Street. Each character draped into the world of their own genre, top four favourite genres from my childhood are on display; the hitman thriller, a sincere drama, a soapie and South African version of Blaxploitation.
