While out viewing a vacant plot of land on which to build their home, Katie and Robert cement their future when Robert proposes and an emotional Katie accepts. The couple are pleased when Andy offers his congratulations. Will the air of romantic happiness last? Cain ruffles Sadie's feathers when he lets slip that he knows about her and Robert. Later on, in the Woolpack, he witnesses the Sugden family celebrating Robert and Katie's engagement. Irritated by the scene of family happiness, Cain promptly informs Andy that Robert is still having his cake and eating it. How will Andy react to this latest revelation about Robert's infidelity. Meanwhile, Tom returns and Jimmy confidently tells his father about the offer he made for Mrs Kidderminster's land but fails to inform him of the burglary.
