His neighbors raise money for him. NEI complains to FAN that SING loves CHING more than her after yet another argument with SING. When she is drunk, FAN takes her to a hotel. A neighbor informs SING about this. As soon as SING has finished telling him about his wife’s adultery with FAN, KAT rushes to the police station, swearing to take FAN’s life.
